Notice of Temporary Closure
Derby Town Offices are Temporarily CLOSED to the General Public

We wish to respect the public’s health in this troubled time and address the concerns of community members by invoking a temporary closure to the public.

As a precaution, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town of Derby Municipal Offices is closed to the public (except as noted above) effective immediately until June 15th. The Town Office staff will remain available to assist you by phone and email.

Town Office hours will remain the same:

The following Town business can be done via mail: tax payments, dog licenses, document requests, land postings, zoning permits, Green Mountain passes, etc…  Please call or email for specific details.
We realize that some services cannot be done remotely, such as title searches.  If you believe you have an immediate need, please contact us for an appointment.
We encourage everyone to follow CDC and Department of Health hand-washing and social distancing recommendations.
Thank you for your understanding that these are unusual times, requiring precautions for the safety and health of the general public, our employees, and most importantly those that are at the greatest risk; the elderly and people with underlying conditions.
Derby Selectboard

Derby has added a small playground at the Derby Beach House 480 4-H Road and it is ready to use for the 4th of July.
Stump Dump:
The Derby Stump Dump is OPEN for the season.  Hours of operation is 8:00 – Noon on Saturdays.  Please plan accordingly.
