The 2nd Annual Derby/Newport Light Up The Night Parade will go from Main St. Newport and end at the Derby Jr. High on Main St. Derby Center. Witness the magic of the holidays through a festive parade filled with vehicles of every size and shape adorned with a dazzling display of lights.  Come out and enjoy the show!

Derby Lions Club 2nd Annual Derby Holiday Festival is underway! We will have activities for the whole Family to come and enjoy together, decorating cookies, ornaments, a fun holiday picture booth, and much more. FREE, NO CHARGE TO COME AND HAVE FUN!

RAFFLE: 2 completed holiday baskets will include everything you need for your holiday dinner for a family of 6, tickets are 5.00 each.

The Planning Commission has completed the Proposed 2020 Town Plan and the Selectboard will be holding the first of two Public Hearings on Monday, December 16, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the Municipal Building at 124 Main Street, Derby Center.  This hearing is for public review and comment on the Proposed 2020 Town Plan.  You can pick up a copy of the Proposed 2020 Town Plan at the Derby Municipal Offices or you can view it online by clicking Here.

Derby has added a small playground at the Derby Beach House 480 4-H Road and it is ready to use for the 4th of July.
Stump Dump:
The Derby Stump Dump is now open for the 2019 season.  Hours of operation is 8:00 – Noon on Saturdays.  Please plan accordingly.
